The Italian outdoor footwear brand was founded in 1963, by Girolamo Deon. He started at the age of 14 in the shoemaking industry as a “scraper” to establishing a highly functional and technical footwear brand called Demon. The Deon family has been running the brand till 2004 and 16 years later now in 2020, the third generation of the family is making a comeback that is led by Alberto Deon.
Demon officially announced what it truly stands for “Demon sits at the intersection between traditional Italian craft culture and state of the art technical garments.”. Alberto based his team in the traditional Italian outdoor footwear production hotspot that is populated by world-class shoemaking artisans.
Demon’s debut collection consists of three styles – GRAELÓN, POYANA, and CARBONÀZ. All three styles are sitting on a technical vibram sole platform that is designed with the thought of stability and functionality. Demon supplements its progressive designs elements with highly functional materials such as extra light Putek textile, eFoam protection, Triangle Tex, waterproof anti-abrasion microfiber, high-tenacity Cordura etc.
Demon first comeback collection is now available at Slam Jam. Check out our Techwear section for all relevant posts.
