The Palazzo Segreti in Milan, Italy is a small 15 room boutique hotel that knows how to merge the elegance of a historic building, set in the heart of Milan, between the Scala, the Duomo, and the Sforzesco Castle, with a design that is modern and cozy. The 4 Star Hotel has a special feel for lighting. When entering the hotel and the room it is clear that some of these gifted Italian interior design architecture must have put a lot of thought into it. Every room is special and unique. Take a look at some of the great rooms, which you can book for around 140€ per night. It’s a fair price if you consider the location down-town Milan, the design, the amazing breakfast, and the family-like service (you can go to the hotel bar and pure yourself a nice drink by yourself, true to the motto make yourself at home).
I personally spend a week there before I knew that I wanted to write about this hotel. Even or maybe especially in times of corona, the service made the stay unforgettable. Every evening I was able to customize my breakfast for the next morning. The juices, the omelet, and especially the cappuccino were things I had to have on my list every morning. That was just a perfect start to the day before I had my second coffee at the Starbucks Flagship (Milano Roastery | Starbucks Reserve) just 2min away from the hotel. So next time you go make sure to check out if they have a room available. Once in Milan, you should also check out the art gallery, book store, tea boutique STAMBERGA via Melzo 3 (zone: Porta Venezia), from the one and only Marco Beretta.
