Dutch textile company, BYBORRE, continues its innovative and conscious path by launching a new collection. After months of working and creating, the brand has come up with EDITION8™, an ode to the label’s philosophy that highlights a sustainable creative process and traceable manufacturing, as well as it assures long-lasting products.
Inspired by the world’s current context, BYBORRE launched the first styles of the EDITION8™ collection, which was originally imagined exactly a year ago. During this time, the brand’s values only got emphasized. The collection features the use of different fabrics, such as the new O2L™ and GORE-TEX-INFINIUM™, which is a predominant one among all garments.
The O2L™ is BYBORRE’s latest knit type and is yet to be available in their Create™ platform, a space where conscious creators around the world can make use of their sustainable, innovative and recyclable textiles. The collection also features other types and weights of the brand’s classical engineered knits. If you are a conscious creator yourself, then you can’t miss their Textile Development Kit™. They have also worked with other companies such as Rapha, adidas, BMW, and Natuzzi.
EDITION8™ is a clear example of the brand’s evolution and its respective designs. This approach is especially visible in their BUTTON TEE and WEIGHT MAP FIELD CROPPED PANTS. For this last product, for example, the studio combined its iconic Gore Weight Map Cropped Pants with the Field Cropped Pants and the result is a hybrid garment that fuses protection and comfort.
You can discover the full collection and get to know more about each statement piece at BYBORRE’s website.
The Amsterdam-based studio is known for combining functionality, aesthetics and material development. BYBORRE’s innovative Lab centers on the development and engineering of hand-rendered techniques mixed with circular knitting machines that allows them to play with patterns, colours and textures.
