We were a little bit surprised when the Tesla Cybertruck was released back in November in 2019. We were not sure if it was a joke, a collaboration with NASA or a real thing. Since that time, many designers took over the Tesla Cybertruck offering us several creative versions, such as LEGO inspired concept and a moon rover iteration.
The pandemic has spread an end-of-the-world fantasy that right now has started to dissipate, but at first we have to admit that it was an accurate feeling. This end-of-humanity vibe inspired digital artist Radek Štěpán to take over the Tesla Cybertruck himself and to create the Pandemax concept.
The new version made by the Czech Republic-based artist looks like a Mars Explorer mixed with a fighting machine from a Mad Max movie. The Tesla Cybertruck Pandemax is only a rendered version at the moment, but it’s physical realization might not be that far.
The latest space explorations, along with NASA and SpaceX‘s race to Mars, have made us think that this new concept could be an advance of our near-future.
Inspired in current times, the Tesla Cybertruck Pandemax has a longer structure than the original version. On the front of the cybertruck, we can see a cabin featuring two seats, which one could access through a mechanically operated glass that works like a door. The Pandemax’s back is rollable, which might be able to work as a trunk to carry all the equipment needed for planet exploration, for example.
