We’ve had quite a few Spring/Summer collections being released in the last couple of weeks. And among the many technical brands we’ve talked about 一from Klättermusen to maharishi一, Nilmance couldn’t go missing.
Last year, the Hong Kong-based brand presented a convertible techwear collection for its SS20. Industrial vibes, utilitarian cuts and references to military design and workwear described Nilmance’s last year lookbook. Following a similar aesthetic, the label’s current collection evokes the utilitarian nature of the apparel and silhouette.
Functionality is one of Nilmance’s core defining elements and it can definitely be seen in this year’s Spring/Summer collection. Textile innovation is as always present through the use of specific fabric technology, such as SCHOELLER 3XDRY®, 3M THINSULATE™ and HIGH-DENSITY NYLON.
Nilmance’s SS20 captured the idea of division through fractioning garments into sections, a concept that remains present in 2021’s collection, visible in the SS21-PB-02 jacket and the SS21-RLP-02 pants, for example.
Nilmance perfectly fuses technology, durability and urbanity to create day-to-day pieces. The attention to details and the military uniform aesthetic have always been an intricate part of the label’s DNA.
You can explore all the latest releases on the brand’s website. With twelve new additions, prices range from $90 USD to $390 USD. For more innovative techwear brands click here.
