The name C.P. Company is no stranger to us. An iconic and avant-garde brand founded by Massimo Osti in the mid 70s, C.P. Company has become a symbol of sportswear by combining functionality, fabric innovation and productivity. You might remember the label’s unconventional Kan-D Textile launched in November last year for the company’s FW20 collection.
All three of them are signature elements that have represented C.P. Company’s style through the decades. The Italian label has now reached its 50th anniversary in fact and in order to celebrate it, the company has partnered once again with Dutch brand: Patta.
It’s not the first time both brands teamed up: back in 2019 they collaborated in a collection that fused signature elements of both parties, such as C.P. Company’s technical fabric dyeing and Patta’s modern streetwear style.
This third new chapter it’s called “Cinquanta” (fifty in Italian) and C.P. Company has committed to rework Patta’s emblematic, popular tracksuit. The capsule mixes the Italian label’s specific know-how and includes signature elements from its own collections. For example, the tracksuit includes the pocket from C.P. Company’s Mille Goggle Jacket.
The “Cinquanta” capsule is special: it was presented in an unique way, inspired as a music video. The collection features only four statement pieces (a bucket hat, jacket, pants and shoulder bag) and very comfortable ones, we might add: they promote easy fits thanks to double zippers, elastic waists and tall collars.
C.P. Company and Patta’s collaboration takes form in grey tones to assure versatility and green touches that highlight specific elements on the garments. You can explore and purchase the full collection on Patta’s website and C.P. Company’s 50th anniversary page.
