Jordan Brand revealed exclusive images of the soon-to-be released Air Jordan 35 Low Quai 54, a new design that will be introduced to the public during the upcoming Quai 54 tournament, which plays a huge role in the brand’s history.
The international streetball tournament Quai 54 has been celebrated annually since its first edition in 2003, gathering artists, players and devotees from all corners around the world, and growing its followers every single year.
To honour the meaningful event ―meaningful not only for the sneakers’ community but also for the brand itself― Jordan Brand has decided to release this unique edition of the Air Jordan 35 Low that will accordingly add to its name “Quai 54”.
The upcoming pair features elements from both the African and Parisian cultures, something we’ve already seen in previous releases. Traditional African patterns can be recognized in the contrasting and geometric prints that cover the entire shoe silhouette on the outside, as well as the inner lining. Along with haute couture elements that evoke the Parisian scene, the Air Jordan 35 Low Quai 54 captures a futuristic essence.
What makes the upcoming Air Jordan 35 Low Quai 54 so unique is that each tongue helds each logo involved in this creation: the “Q” shaped logo referencing the tournament is visible on the left tongue and the Jumpman logo on the right one. The “Quai 54” logo is also noticeable on both heels.
The new low-top pair will be available on select Air Jordan retailers as well as on Nike’s official website. A formal retail price hasn’t been announced yet, although word got around that they are already available on Nike CN website for around $220 USD.
