A couple of days ago we covered Neighborhood‘s new Spring/Summer collection for this year. The proposal was a technical lookbook that covered fishing gear and outdoor apparel delivering functionality and innovation.
A few moments later, the Japanese brand has now released a new collaborative capsule with Tokyo-based brand WIND AND SEA. Following a minimalist take-on on classic pieces like hoodies and basic t-shirts, the collaborative collection includes mirroring logos from both labels. Small details, simple design and neutral tones.
The new SS21 features accessories too: masks, sneakers’ storage boxes, mats, cushions, container boxes, foldable stepstools, an incense holder and even a yo-yo, among others. The price range goes from ¥19,800 (approximately $200 USD) to ¥385 (approximately $5 USD). The joint-branding is present in every single product that results from this partnership.
The true protagonist of this Spring/Summer collection is the collaboration itself. Take a closer look at the capsule here.
Neighborhood and WIND AND SEA SS21 lookbook is available on Neighborhood’s both physical and online stores, in WIND AND SEA NAKAMEGURO and OSAKA branches and in their website as well. At the moment, the collection seems to be completely sold out, but it’s a matter of time before products are restocked.
