Undercover has caught our attention many times now: from its latest collaboration with Nike and Sacai resulting in the LD Waffle “Bright Citron” sneakers, or its previous Nike collaboration to create a holiday collection inspired by the Japanese martial art, Kendo.
This time, the Japanese brand has revealed its Fall/Winter 2021 collection by the name of “Neoboy”, under the brand’s latest menswear line: UNDERCOVERISM.
Jun Takahashi has surprised us with a lookbook that is inspired by the label’s previous Spring/Summer 2009 collection “NEOBOY & POPTONES”, which was originally inspired by the godmother of Punk Rock, Patti Smith. On the other hand, the headpieces featured in the lookbook belong to French artist Anne-Valerie Dupond.
The “Neoboy” FW21 collection will be available for purchase as of tomorrow June 19 in all UNDERCOVER stores, MADSTORE UNDERCOVER locations and on their website. Take a closer look at Undercover’s new collection here and check out our techwear section for more similar news.
Disproportionate constructions, sober and dark tones, monochromatic looks make up for this asymmetric FW21 collection. Prints are left to the minimum, making only an appearance in the stoles, a red gingham shirt and a knit cardigan. The DNA of the “Neoboy” line is minimalist and neutral, combining layered looks.
