Not long ago, we were talking about Arc’teryx’s three-part Fall/Winter 2021 collection comprising protective gear for all types of weather. It’s been only a couple of weeks now, but we have some exciting news involving the Canadian labels once again.
Turns out it has launched a new collaborative capsule called “BLACK & GOLD” with Japanese retailer BEAMS, which is actually one of the longer partnerships Arc’teryx’s has had since its beginnings. The FW21 collaboration is more neutral and understated in comparison to previous capsules, but garments are still as phenomenal as always.
It’s a three-piece capsule comprising the lightweight, waterproof Zeta SL Jacket; the insulated Atom AR hoody, as well as the Mantis 2 waist pack.
As we said, it’s a very minimalist collection in terms of color: pieces feature different shades of black and very subtle details, such as the gold zippers and functional pockets (hence the capsule’s name).
Other visible details are the bright signature Arc’teryx Japan’s Bird Aid program that covers all the pieces and the Archaeopteryx logo, which, in case you don’t remember, is making a come-back from last year’s collection FW20.
The “BLACK & GOLD” will be available to pre-order in BEAMS’ website and stores from early November, ranging from usd$50 to usd$460 approximately.
