Tobias Birk Nielsen founded ISO.POETISM™ back in 2016 and today the menswear brand is introducing its ninth collection dubbed “The mountains we scale together”. It’s powerful and very accurate name that accompanies the new FW21 capsule inspired in the Himalayas.
Nielsen doesn’t leave any loose ends, the collection is thought out to the last detail. All pieces are technically fit for the mountains and their aesthetics reference the different stages of the mountain: shades of gray and black details suggest the snow and ice that cover the Himalayas; while rugged textures and earth tones reproduce the colors of the mountain soil still to be covered by the frost.
Centered around the idea of collectivism and the power of human connection, the outerwear collection is an ode to the enormous team effort and combined strength needed to overcome the challenges of the mountain, in order to achieve that transcendent triumph.
The monochromatic looks are all fit for climbing, featuring mountain silhouettes and technical cadence, made of nylon, cotton, fleece and polyester fabrics. The Copenhagen-based menswear brand also introduced an interesting collaboration this Fall/Winter season: aside from the utilitarian sneaker boots from last year, this delivery is topped off with ISO.POETISM™ teaming up with Vibram to design Terai, the label’s first leather boot.
You’ll be able to find “The mountains we scale together” later this week on the brand’s website and selected retail stores around the world. In similar news, XUPERMASK is inaugurating the new era of tech-masks.
