Modular Gear Project 一better known for its acronym M.G.P.一 has delivered its seasonal collection for the upcoming colder days and it’s everything we could expected.
Always committed to the core elements on which the brand is built (that is adaptive, dynamic, versatile and performance), M.G.P. combines functionality and utility in its latest release.
Inspired by military and mountaineering gear, the Fall/Winter 2021 collection envisions the future, where practicality, versatility and comfort reign. Garments feature detachable elements, as well as interchangeable and transmuting designs, such as the B21-02W 2-WAYS CROSS-BODY WAIST BAG and the RG21-UTV RIG-TYPE UTILITY VEST.
Technically speaking, this brings to mind Nemen’s waterproof PITO TACTICAL TOTE VEST that can be transformed into a practical TOTE BAG.
Modular Gear Project also presents headwear alternatives, like the A21-DSH 2-WAYS DESERT HAT that can be attached to the jackets and transformed into hoods thanks to a zipper system. Moreover, the O21-OVA 2-WAYS INDUSTRIAL OVERALL provides detachable sleeves, and interchangeable outer and inner layers.
Performance and materials-wise, this collection is crafted in a variety of styles and high industry standard fabrics, and functionality is certainly guaranteed. The waterproof windbreakers and parkas are made with Breathatec®, while cargo pants feature Nano-Wing® fabric for oil and water repellency. Finally, bags and rigs are made with X-Pac®.
As well as previous Modular Gear Project’s collections, this last delivery is also compatible with the MOLLE System (Modular Lightweight Load-carry-carry Equipment). That means the FW21 capsule offers removable pouches and carabiners that can be added to the gear and work as additional storage.
In similar news, there are other seasonal releases you should definitely check out, like Nilmance and Craghoppers’.
