Acronym continues to be a leading brand in the techwear world and its FW21 collection is just another proof of that. A cyberpunk aesthetic tints the monochromatic looks of this seasonal release, which is one more time an ode to innovation and functionality.
Acronym’s FW21 collection has been divided into two drops, both equally on point and assuring the highest quality. The entire collection features neutral tones, like black, green and gray hues.
Following the pillastones of this genre, the new collection provides weather-proof, enhanced garments, merging the latest sportswear and military technologies. In fact, the designs feature the classic engineered fabrics, such as GORE-TEX, Windstopper®, Polartec® and Primaloft®, among many others.
This is a modular, futuristic and product-focused capsule. You get what the hype is all about, right? These are our two main highlights.
The 3L GORE-TEX Pro J16-GT Jacket is both wind and water repellent. It comes with a removable Storm Hood with dropped shoulders, as well as mesh panels at the hem and sleeves for better breathability. The ergonomic design is topped off with EscapeZip tech for easy and quick removal. The J16-GT Jacket is actually a lighter and re-engineered version of the FW-0809 item.
Another peak is the Schoeller® Dryskin™ Ultrawide Drawcord Cargo Trouser. The P30A-DS utilitarian pants are abrasion resistant and they provide moisture managing and fast drying properties, which makes them a top choice for all four seasons. Featuring twelve functional pockets and articulated knees, these are “the most comfortable cargo pants” they’ve ever made (Acronym’s words).
The NG4-PS Modular Power Stretch® neck gaiter or the Windstopper® Primaloft® Modular Liner Jacket are also cutting edge releases. But check it out for yourself on the brand’s website.
Since you’re here, take a look at Norse Projects “Into the Arctic” FW21 capsule too.
