SCRY™ Lab is with no doubts one of the most innovative, futuristic brands that have risen during 2021. It’s an emerging London-based brand that likes to define itself as a “pioneering footwear laboratory”.
Founded only a year ago by innovation designer @SCCCCCRY, the growing British label explores and experiments the possibilities of future design and manufacturing, merging art, technology, culture and environment.
SCRY™ Lab is all about cutting-edge footwear, daring silhouettes and anthropomorphic sneakers, that far from being prototypes are actually 100% wereable. If you’re thinking about how footwear will look in the future, they’ve got the answer.
Nowhere near mass production, the UK brand offers an on-demand service that is in tune with its sustainable approach to techwear. In fact, each pair of sneakers takes about two weeks to be made.
Moreover, the brand uses an integrated printing process that eliminates the need for a manufacturing assembly process. Meaning they don’t create unnecessary leftovers and material waste.
Aside from its own website, the designs can be now found in APOC Store, including the brand’s signature footwear: the revolutionary “Shuttle Shadow”. It was their first ever design, followed by the “Shuttle Mercury” design.
Other of the brand’s creations include the CORE sneaker in Lunar and Shadow colorways, which can be actually transformed in the CORE boot thanks to an attachable accessory 一also in both color shades一. Regarding prices, they range between $450 USD to $650 USD in the official site, reaching more than the $800 USD in select retailers.
