GORE-TEX has become a crucial partner for many brands, such as Samsøe Samsøe, nonnative and Gramicci. Especially by this time of the year, when technicality is a must-have to fight back the low temperatures and challenging weather conditions.
So it’s not a surprise that Korean streetwear brand thisisneverthat wanted to collaborate once again with the innovative company. Just like last year’s FW20 GORE-TEX capsule, both labels are teaming up for this year’s new seasonal release.
Merging both brands’ essence, the FW21 GORE-TEX capsule presents casual outerwear with highly functional features. The designs blend the limits between the city and the outdoors, bringing back classic gear for the Fall/Winter season.
GORE-TEX and thisisneverthat collection includes fall essentials, such as jackets, pants, bucket hats, caps and cardigans. All the outerwear is constructed with the wearer in mind to provide warmth and efficiency all the way.
The technical fabric comes in two versions: in a three-layered waterproof variant, and in a breathable and windproof INFINIUM™ variant. The 3L Shell Jacket Stone, the Utility Fleece Jacket and the 3L Shell Pants are both wind and water resistant.
The knitted zipper cardigan, the baseball cap and the bucket hat complete the new release. The outdoor gear are provided with multiple utility pockets and they’re complete with GORE-TEX and thisisneverthat branding.
Color-wise, the collection comes in earthy tones, such as brown, grey, ivory, stone, khaki and black. Prices range between $35 USD and $350 USD. You can explore the full capsule collection in thisisneverthat’s online store.
