HAVEN has launched a capsule collection in collaboration with Italian company Loro Piana. This new release is in fact centered around Loro Piana’s innovative Storm System fabric, which is an advanced three layer system that provides premium natural fibers with waterproof, wind resistance and breathable features of a technical fabric.
The capsule consists of four enhanced garments constructed with one of Loro Piana’s state-of-the-art technologies. The beginnings of the Italian company date back to the early 19th century and since then Loro Piana has been synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and innovation.
The Italian label is a reference for the world’s finest yarns and fabrics, such as high-quality wool. As HAVEN itself describes, this release blends “timeless luxury with modern day functionality”.
The Chamber Parka, the Solo Pants, the Field Cap and the Field Hat are made from premium Italian Capolavoro wool, which is both waterproof and windproof. This fabric will keep the wearer dry and warm at the same time, while the microfiber jersey lining will provide a soft, comfortable feel.
All four items are part of HAVEN’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection: the garments are inspired in the Swedish military aesthetic, including the silhouettes, and they come in a charcoal tone.
The CHAMBER PARKA STORM SYSTEM® 3L WOOL features multiple pockets with zips and snap flag top compartments for extra storage. It also showcases hand warmer compartments on the sides. Additional protection is provided by a dual zip front closure fortified with a snap fastened storm flap. The CHAMBER PARKA is topped off with a Green Storm System® Nywool hood and snap adjustable cuffs.
As for the signature SOLO PANTS STORM SYSTEM® 3L WOOL, they present a hybridized design with utilitarian pockets, an adjustable integrated nylon belt with magnetic buckle and bungee cord and toggle lock system at the hem.
