NAKED Copenhagen has teamed up with footwear specialist New Balance to launch a Community pack that includes the 725 and the 1080v11 sneaker styles. The goal of both brands was to celebrate the sense of community (hence the name of this new release) and the drop took time yesterday at 9am EST.
NAKED Copenhagen and New Balance’s pack comes in neutral, creamy tones such as white, light blue, cream and certain contrasting details in black. The 725 and the 1080v11 sneakers are topped off with a minimal branding of the two companies, which includes New Balance’s signature “N” logo on the sides in contrasting tones.
The Community pack is one more addition to the brands’ collaborative history. This time the inspiration comes in fact from the community of creatives that accompany NAKED Copenhagen and who happen to star in this campaing.
By the way, NAKED Copenhagen and New Balance are not the only ones working in collaborative capsules. In fact, British designer Craig Green has joined forces for the second time with Adidas Originals to drop the CG SCUBA PHORMAR silhouette.
New Balance 725 and 1080v11 duo sneakers have been redesigned and the original 2000s styles are given an up to date lifestyle approach. The 725 running-inspired sneaker now features a UV Glow toned layered mesh, leather panels, a C-CAP midsole and ABZORB cushioning.
On the other hand, the 1080v11 pair has been designed in a stretch, knitted material and it has been made using Fresh Foam and Ultra Heel technology too. The use of these techniques provides the necessary cushioning, comfort and support for a running sneaker.
